Franklin College Names Angelina Gonzalez as Executive Assistant to the President

Franklin College has announced the appointment of Angelina (Angie) N. Gonzalez as the executive assistant to the president (EAP).
The EAP provides administrative and senior-level assistance to the president of the college and serves as recording secretary to the college’s Board of Trustees. In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Office of the President, the EAP serves as a liaison between the president and students, alumni, staff, faculty, local community organizations and key professional associations. The EAP also provides support, management and organization of various institutional events.
“We are excited to welcome Angie into the Franklin College family,” said Franklin College President Kerry N. Prather. “Her depth of experience, professionalism and strong organizational skills make her a valuable addition to our team. I am confident she will thrive in this role and contribute meaningfully to the continued success of the college.”
Gonzalez holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. She was most recently Director of Planning & Engagement at Ivy Tech Community College, where she served in various other capacities since 2003. Those roles included Director of President’s Office Administrative Operations, Senior Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary to the Vice Presidents for Administration and Student Affairs.

Gonzalez resides in Franklin with her two children.
