Johnson County Museum Valentines Workshop on Feb. 8

People of all ages are invited to create a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s Day card from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Johnson County Museum of History in Franklin. Visitors will learn about the history of Valentine’s Day, see beautiful historic valentines for inspiration, and then create a holiday masterpiece to give to family or friends. The Valentines Workshop is free of charge, and all materials will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.

The Johnson County Historical Society is a non-profit, educational institution, whose purpose is to collect, preserve, interpret and promote the material culture of this region. The Society, with a professional staff, manages a museum facility and genealogy collection. The Johnson County Museum is located at 135 North Main Street in downtown Franklin, Indiana. The museum and genealogy library are open year-round 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is free.
