On October 8th, 2020, a new chapter was written with the opening of the highly anticipated FedEx Ground Hub in Greenwood. The state-of-the-art facility is managed by a group of the best leaders in the industry. Despite facing numerous challenges, including the added pressure of opening 24/7 during the pandemic, the Hub has already more than doubled in volume! In fact, the Greenwood Hub gained 11 more spots in a list of biggest hubs in the organization already in the first 2 months of 2023.
Since opening the doors, the Greenwood Hub has been praised for its efficiency and versatility, as it has successfully adapted to meet the constantly changing needs of the supply chain and customers. The dedicated staff have persistently exceeded the high standards set for them, which has attracted top talent from across the region. In only a very short time, FedEx Ground Greenwood has won numerous accolades for having the safest hub operation in the company and frequently tops rankings for productivity and efficiency.
This incredible facility serves as a shining example of what can be achieved when the determination and passion of a great team is combined with cutting-edge technology and leadership. Greenwood Hub is an affirmation that imagination and focus and patience gets you closer to your aspiration.
