Aspire Announces Winners of Business Success Awards

Award recognizes creativity, resilience, and strategic growth
Aspire Economic Development + Chamber Alliance proudly announced today the winners of its annual Business Success Awards. These awards celebrate organizations that have showcased outstanding achievements in areas such as growth and stability, commitment to quality, innovative problem-solving, and entrepreneurial spirit. The winners were revealed at Aspire’s annual “Celebrate Aspire” event held on April 24th at the Garment Factory in Franklin.
There were two categories, nonprofit and for-profit. The Aspire Business Success Award winners are:
- Business Success, Nonprofit – Madison Street Salvage
As a one-of-a-kind nonprofit retail space and proud extension of Franklin Heritage, Inc., Madison Street Salvage rescues vintage architectural pieces and reinvests every dollar into preservation. The organization has seen consistent revenue growth, up 25% in 2023 and another 6% in 2024, thanks to creative inventory expansion and strong leadership. When furniture sales slowed, they expanded into vinyl records, reaching new audiences and achieving their highest profit margin yet. With extended hours for First Fridays and unique community programming like “Painting with Greg Potter,” they’ re keeping things fresh and fun. - Business Success, Nonprofit – UpLift Johnson County
UpLift Johnson County teams up with groups like Johnson County Senior Services, Turning Point, and the Central Indiana Police Foundation to multiply results. In just one year, UpLift raised nearly $120,000 to support the Police & Peace Officers Memorial, proof of what bold outreach and partnerships can achieve. The organization has grown from $51,000 to over $118,000 in just two years. Their efforts as a hub for connections is creating real, lasting impact for the community. - Business Success, For profit – CMS Corporation
CMS Corporation has exploded with triple-digit revenue growth from 2023 to 2024. To give more perspective on this amazing growth, their industry’s average annual growth profit margin is 15-18%. CMS’s was 30% last year. In just three years, their total assets have surged by 295% and their bonding capacity has grown to an impressive $110 million. In addition to these revenue successes, the company reported zero recordable safety incidents across all projects. CMS Corporation’s operational excellence and bold vision have fueled their rapid, stable growth, positioning them as a powerhouse partner in their industry. - Business Success, For profit – SlyFox Creative
SlyFox Creative is a local graphics, signage, and print business that more than doubled its revenue in 2024. During this time, two of SlyFox’s largest clients merged, leading to a rebranding effort that included 11,000 signs, hundreds of vehicle wraps, and more for the SlyFox staff to create, print, and install. This growth allowed the company to add three full-time team members, invest in cutting-edge equipment, and even acquire a new company, bringing the parent portfolio to five businesses strong. With creativity, grit, and relentless commitment to quality, SlyFox Creative is redefining what’s possible in their industry. - Business Success, For profit – VisionQuest Eyecare
VisionQuest Eyecare is an independently owned optometry practice with locations in Greenwood and Castleton. In 2024, the practice opened a new Greenwood location that doubled its footprint. This focus on patient-centered care helped VisionQuest grow their patient base by 20% over the last three years. In addition, they increased revenue by 20% from 2023 to 2024, which shattered their industry average of just 2.7% for the same period. Focusing on strategic growth and patient-centered care sets VisionQuest Eyecare apart in the healthcare landscape.
