Franciscan Health Offering Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics in Central Indiana
Franciscan Health is offering multiple drive-thru flu shot clinics across Central Indiana in September and October in preparation for flu season.
Patients ages six months and older can receive flu and Covid vaccinations. Available vaccines include: COVID-19; shingles, pneumonia and flu (high dose, egg-free, flu mist). All flu shots are trivalent options. Vaccine availability may vary due to limited supplies.
All events are open to the public and will take place in the parking lots of the host locations.
The first drive-thru clinic is scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22 at the Johnson County Public Library Clark Pleasant Branch, located at 350 Clearwater Blvd. in Whiteland.
The second clinic is scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24 at the Johnson County Public Library Franklin Branch, located at 401 State St. in Franklin.
The third clinic is scheduled to take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27 in the parking lot on the west side of the building at Franciscan Health Stones Crossing, located at 1703 W. Stones Crossing Road in Greenwood.
The fourth clinic is scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Johnson County Public Library Trafalgar Branch, located at 424 S. Tower St. in Trafalgar.
The fifth clinic is scheduled to take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Johnson County Public Library White River Branch, located at 1664 Library Blvd. in Greenwood.
The final clinic is scheduled to take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15 at Franciscan Physician Network Columbus Primary & Specialty Care, located at 123 2nd St. in Columbus.
Attendees must bring an insurance card (private, Medicare or Medicaid) and photo ID. Insurance will be billed. Those without insurance or self-pay will be charged $40 by cash, check or debit card. Other charges could apply.
Those attending the drive-thru clinics are asked to wear short sleeves to receive a vaccine.
