The Franklin College Marketing Department was recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) with a 2024-25 Best of CASE District V Award in the category of Marketing: Websites (Institutional) for its redesign of the Franklin College website.

The website now offers a more modern design with large images and an accessibility menu. The site is also able to translate into more than 12 languages with a single click. Since it launched in August 2024, Franklin College’s redesigned website has seen an increase of 10,000 visitors and 20,000 page views compared to the previous year.

“Receiving the CASE award is a testament to our focused effort for more than a year in rebuilding the Franklin College website. It is a great honor to be recognized as a leader in higher education marketing alongside institutions like Purdue, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin and Northwestern. The award demonstrates that the hard work, collaboration and dedication of a small team can make a significant impact,” Mary White, director of marketing, said. “I would also like to thank Bob Blake, web content manager, as we could not have completed the website redesign successfully without the countless hours he devoted to the project.”

Andrew Hendricks, vice president of enrollment and marketing, also applauded the efforts of Bob Blake.

“The recognition is well deserved, and there is no doubt we have created a better experience for those who visit our website,” said Hendricks. “The website remains the number one source of information for prospective students and their families. Therefore, it is important for the website to remain clear and easy to navigate. The new site is more refined and more sophisticated at the same time. With 24/7 chat options, new AI features, and fewer overall pages, visitors to the site should be able to see why the site has garnered such positive attention with this award.”

In the past, the College has received CASE awards for the Franklin College Magazine, a Spotify ad, alumni engagement metrics reporting, the #GRIZTuesday fundraising campaign and fundraising analytics software.
