Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, is pleased to announce IWIN (Indiana Women In Need) Foundation as the new member-nominated beneficiary for its Cancer Awareness Debit Card. The IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card provides members an opportunity to support a different cancer-related organization each year. A portion of each signature transaction made with this card from March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023, up to $10,000, will be donated to IWIN.

The card is available for issue to members at IMCU’s 33 Indiana locations. The IMCU Cancer Awareness Debit Card is an option to members with a free checking account and can be issued immediately via IMCU’s instant issue program, which allows members to receive their debit card on the spot.

IWIN Foundation supports individuals statewide currently receiving treatment for breast cancer by securing and paying for individual services that relieve emotional, physical and financial burdens. The basis of the IWIN Program is to give these courageous individuals the strength to endure treatment, empower them to continue their fight against breast cancer, and place them on the path to survivorship. Having assisted 3 women in the first year and 16 men since inception, IWIN has served over 6,700 women and men and celebrates providing over $2.5 million dollars in services to recipients throughout the state of Indiana. "We are deeply grateful to IMCU and its members for their support of IWIN's mission,” said Debbie Laswell, Development/Program Director, IWIN. “Just this week, our staff spoke to a Central Indiana patient who was considering not going to her daily radiation treatments because she didn't have money for additional gas. For the local women and men that IWIN serves, IMCU's generosity is significant and life-changing."

“IMCU is honored to partner with IWIN Foundation and their important mission of providing financial support for individual services that relieve the emotional, physical and financial burdens to those courageously battling breast cancer in Indiana,” said Ron Collier, president and CEO of IMCU.
