Ivy Tech and Indiana Real Estate Institute Announce New Partnership to Expand Real Estate Education Opportunities in Indiana
Indiana Real Estate Institute (IREI) and Ivy Tech Community College have formed a new partnership focused on increasing awareness of real estate education opportunities and career pathways across Indiana.
Approximately 20,000 real estate brokers (agents), managing brokers and broker companies are licensed in Indiana. Between 2,500 and 3,000 new agents and brokers are needed each year due to retirements and turnover. IREI and Ivy Tech said they saw the need for a more coordinated effort to expand awareness of real estate education and make it easier for Hoosiers to explore flexible, career-focused learning opportunities.
IREI provides real estate education for aspiring agents, newly licensed brokers, and experienced professionals throughout Indiana. Its offerings include state-approved pre-licensing, post-licensing, continuing education, managing broker training, and workshops designed to support students at every stage of their careers. Founded in 1990, IREI has built a statewide reputation as a long-established Indiana real estate school.
Ivy Tech Community College is Indiana’s public community college system, providing affordable education statewide. Founded in 1963, Ivy Tech serves more than 200,000 students at more than 40 locations across the state and offers associate degrees, certificates and workforce training programs.
