Meet Your Ambassador: Andrew Bonser, Financial Representative, OneIndiana Financial Group

1. When did you become an Ambassador?
   
   I became an Ambassador in early 2024.
   
   
2. How has being an Ambassador been beneficial to you and/or your company?
   
   Being an Ambassador has been a great way to meet individuals and business owners within the community.
   
   
3. Why did you want to become an Ambassador?
   
   I wanted to become an Ambassador to meet business owners within the community and to see how Aspire, or my personal contacts, can help their business thrive in Johnson County.
   
   
4. Do you have a favorite memory as an Ambassador? Please share.
   
   My favorite thing about being an Ambassador is when I meet a new member for coffee and share the value that Aspire brings to their business. This is always a fun way to meet new people in a casual environment.
   
   
5. What advice do you have for professionals trying to connect with other professionals? What is your favorite networking tip?
   
   My advice for other professionals is to be curious about the individual they are meeting and their business. It is easier for people to talk about themselves or their business with someone new. It is an easy icebreaker when you are meeting people you don't already know.
   
   
6. What was your first job?
   
   My first job was as an Assistant Manager for Finish Line in Toledo, Ohio
   
   
7. What is something you like to do outside of the business setting? Do you have any hobbies?
   
   I enjoy doing things with my family like playing golf, taking walks with the dog, and saltwater fishing
   
   
8. What is your favorite vacation and why?
   
   A favorite vacation was a trip to England and France in 2014 with my family and my dad shortly after my mom passed away. It was a chance for my kids to meet relatives who live in England that they had never met. Today, my kids still stay connected with their cousins in England.
   
   
9. What makes you a raving fan of Aspire?
   
   I am a fan of Aspire because the group not only addresses many macro issues impacting Johnson County, but they also have a tremendous amount of resources for small businesses to be successful. The staff is always willing and able to assist members.
