- When did you become an Ambassador?
January, 2025 - How has being an Ambassador been beneficial to you and/or your company?
I have made many connections through Aspire that have been beneficial to The Drop at The Refuge. One example is Amy Barile from Teal Canary working with our students in our after-school program. Most of our students would not have the means to take private art lessons, and Amy did a session with them to teach them how to paint on canvas. It was a beautiful time! - Why did you want to become an Ambassador?
Aspire has enabled me to meet, connect and network with many people that own businesses locally. I have seen many benefits for The Refuge because of our Aspire membership. I want to share that experience with as many people as possible. - Do you have a favorite memory as an Ambassador?
My favorite memory as an Ambassador is when we had speed networking at Coffee Connections. It was so fun! - What advice do you have for professionals trying to connect with other professionals?
Aspire is a great place to connect with other professionals. They should join immediately! - What is your favorite networking tip?
When talking with others, ask questions about them. People love talking about themselves. - What was your first job?
My first job was at John Robert Powers Modeling School. I started at the front desk and worked my way up to an instructor. - Do you have any hobbies or something you like to do outside the business setting?
I love spending time with my family. I also love cooking, being outdoors and serving in my community. - What is your favorite vacation and why?
I love the beach. It is so relaxing and gives me time to get refreshed. - What makes you a raving fan of Aspire?
I have seen the benefits of being a member of Aspire. I would love other businesses to have the same opportunity as The Refuge!
