Technology Recyclers is Indiana’s fully certified, veteran-owned e-waste recycling company, proudly serving the state for more than 15 years. Built on a foundation of environmental responsibility and uncompromising data security, the company operates as a 100% landfill-free recycler, ensuring every device is processed ethically, safely, and sustainably. With industry-leading certifications including R2v3, RIOS, NAID, and full NIST 800-88 compliance for data destruction, Technology Recyclers supports all business verticals, including HIPAA, FERPA, and DOD-regulated organizations. The company serves the entire state of Indiana and provides free pickups for qualifying businesses.
Technology Recyclers offers business pickups five days per week, accepts customer drop-offs Monday through Friday at its eastside Indianapolis facility, and hosts multiple Saturday recycling events throughout the year. Additional events are held at office parks, municipalities, and business campuses to expand community access to responsible recycling.
The company was created to solve a growing environmental problem and fill a critical void in safe electronics disposal. In 2010, Indiana made it illegal to throw electronics in the trash, prompting Technology Recyclers to pursue every certification necessary to handle sensitive materials while maintaining a zero-landfill commitment. Last year alone, more than eight million pounds of electronics were kept out of the earth.
Technology Recyclers performs certified destruction of end-of-life items and regularly processes new, distressed, or recalled materials for manufacturers and 3PL partners. Today, the company employs more than 40 team members, operates five trucks statewide, and completed over 3,400 business pickups in 2025, along with thousands of customer drop-offs and numerous public events.
Founder Dale Needleman’s work focuses on promoting the company, building customer relationships, and understanding client needs. Blending operational knowledge with public education, he partners with corporations, municipalities, nonprofits, and community groups to design secure, compliant e-waste programs that follow strict chain-of-custody, transport, and environmental protocols.
