Nominations for Best of the Southside Contest Open
Daily Journal has opened nominations for its 2026 Best of the Southside contest. Readers have the opportunity to recognize their favorite local businesses, services and organizations across dozens of categories. Businesses and individuals can be nominated for categories ranging from restaurants and entertainment to healthcare, home services, retail and professional services. Additional categories can also be added to the contest during the nomination process.
Nominations are open through Aug. 27 at dailyjournal.net/bestofsouthside.
The top nominees will advance to the public voting round, which will be open from Sept. 2-27.
Contest winners will be announced Nov. 28.
Business owners can also sign up for a free media kit to encourage nominations and voting on the contest page.
