The Town of Bargersville announced the official promotion of Kevin Kredit as Utilities Manager and Ryan Ellis as Information Technology Director.

Following the departure of the Town’s Utilities Manager and IT Director, Kredit and Ellis stepped forward to help maintain continuity of operations while learning new systems, processes, and community needs. Over the past several months, both have worked closely with Town leadership and staff to ensure reliable services continued without disruption.

Kevin Kredit, formerly serving the City of Shelbyville, Indiana, has taken on leadership of Bargersville’s utilities operations. In his role as Utilities Manager, Kredit oversees water and wastewater services, infrastructure maintenance, and system planning that supports residents, businesses, and ongoing development. His proactive approach and commitment to operational excellence have helped guide the department during a period of transition and growth.

Ryan Ellis now serves as the Town’s Information Technology Director, managing the technology systems that keep Town Hall and municipal operations running efficiently. Ellis has worked diligently to strengthen internal technology systems, support staff operations, and enhance digital infrastructure that allows the Town to better serve residents and maintain secure, reliable services.

Recognizing their leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the community, the Bargersville Town Council formally promoted both individuals into their permanent roles.

“We are grateful for the leadership Kevin and Ryan have provided during this transition,” said Town officials. “Their dedication and forward-thinking approach position Bargersville well as we continue to grow responsibly.”
